During the second session systematic laws aimed at strengthening defence capacity and corruption counteraction, and reforming economy shall be adopted; constitutional reform shall be initiated. Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this, opening the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation on Tuesday.

Volodymyr Groysman believes current session "shall become a session of quality and dynamic changes and reforms". "We shall act urgently", he said. "This session should be very distinct from the viewpoint of adopting constitutional amendments and other reforms".

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman hopes that MPs "will resolve several issues that the former parliaments were facing" in the context of reforming all spheres of the country's life. "A part of this hard work shall be performed by the Parliament", stressed Volodymyr Groysman, expressing hope that every day of work will be "efficient, open, and public".
